What’s the difference between a digital waiver and a digital signature agreement?

Here’s the key difference:

  • Digital Waiver (Included):

    • Typically one party signs (the guest)

    • May or may not be legally binding, depending on your local laws

    • Used mainly for disclaimers, house rules, or liability acknowledgments

  • Digital Signature Agreement ($1/Signed Agreement):

    • Both parties sign (you and the guest)

    • Legally binding and compliant with ESIGN Act, UETA, eIDAS, and international standards

    • Includes full audit logs for legal and compliance purposes

In short: waivers are simpler and more informal, while agreements are formal, enforceable contracts.
